JaVonni Brustow is a Communications professional and Principal of VM3 Media who comes with 15 years of business management and communications experience. JaVonni serves as the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the celebrity news website PopGlitz.com and his media company specializes in community advocacy with a number of media initiatives geared at helping with the re-brand of his new home of Petersburg Virginia after recently leaving Washington with projects such as Petersburg Solution and Blacks In Petersburg highlighting notable businesses, music artists and candidates for office. After moving to Petersburg, VA, he became one of the founding members of the Petersburg Republican Committee serving as Secretary and Vice Chair of the Tri-Cities Young Republicans and has proven that bipartisan political support and progress is possible as a political minority in the bluest city in the state of Virginia but has since become Independent in the aftermath of the 2020 election.
Brustow has appeared as a regular guest on Did She Say That with Sonnie Johnson from 2016 - 2019, Sirius Breitbart XM Radio, BBC World Service Radio, Just Listen to Yourself with Kira Davis Podcast, The Breaking Conservatarian Podcast with Jeff Charles and has held workshops with Felecia Killings’ Conscious Conservative Network on political and community engagement. Brustow hosts the PopGlitz Podcast and Media Mogul News Hour. He's also served as Communications Director for political campaigns and committees. He had his media start as an assistant choir director for From the Heart Church Ministries in the Washington Metropolitan area as a teenager to producing concerts for DC Gospel Events. He worked as a writer for a number of publications from DefGlam by PR professional Bryan Sharpe, now known as Hotep Jesus to Ms Stylistik before deciding to launch PopGlitz which has appeared on Bravo's Real Housewives of Potomac, has been cited with Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Heavy.com and BET. Recent interviews he’s conducted have included Misster Ray with Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, R&B artist Tyra Bolling, the creator of the black soap opera Anacostia: The Series, model and influencer Deven Hubbard, etc.
In 2021 Brustow has joined the team of the leading pop culture blog TheIndustryOnBlast helping to expand the brand and also serves as the head judge for The Misty TV Firm’s Blaque Okane Rockfest, national talent search and reality series starting in Petersburg, VA. He’s helping to search for talent to go on an 8 state tour with Misty Blanco, formerly known as Mysterious from MTV’s Making the Band 2.
