About JaVonni

JaVonni Brustow is a Washington, D.C.-based media entrepreneur, communications professional and real estate professional whose career has spanned digital publishing, public relations, property management, broadcasting and community engagement.

He is the Principal of VM3 Media and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of PopGlitz, the entertainment and pop culture platform he launched after several years working across media, events and communications. Through PopGlitz, Brustow has interviewed entertainers, reality television personalities, creators and emerging talent, while his work has been featured or cited by outlets including Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, BET and Heavy. PopGlitz has also appeared on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Potomac.

Brustow’s path into media began as a teenager in the Washington metropolitan area’s gospel community, where he served as an assistant choir director before becoming involved in concert production and entertainment media. He later wrote for independent publications before creating a platform of his own. His career subsequently expanded into public relations, communications strategy and broadcasting, with appearances on BBC World Service Radio, SiriusXM and podcasts and digital programs discussing entertainment, culture and current events.

His professional experience extends beyond media. Brustow has worked in international development supporting publishing operations at the World Bank and has built a career in Washington’s multifamily real estate industry, progressing through resident services, leasing and property operations into management. His experience working directly with residents, prospects, property teams and ownership has shaped his approach to communication, leadership and the relationship between people and the communities in which they live.

Today, his work sits at the intersection of media, real estate, communications and entrepreneurship. Through VM3 Media, PopGlitz and his personal platforms, Brustow continues to develop original content, interview personalities and explore the people, businesses and ideas shaping culture and communities.
